Thinky Things
Thinky, Feely, Funny Stuff — for making sense of you
This is an ever-growing collection of articles and reflections about how humans think, feel, decide, react, communicate, tie themselves in knots, misunderstand each other — and occasionally surprise themselves.
These reflections grew out of:
- years of working with clients and trainees.
- noticing patterns that show up again and again — in conversations, relationships, work, stress, confidence, humour, and change.
- a single question or thought that wouldn’t leave me alone.
- conversations, recorded and shared here as short podcast or audio pieces.
You’ll find ideas here about thinking and mindset, emotions and self-talk, communication, values, resilience, motivation, and the quieter inner stuff that’s harder to name.
They’re written with care, not haste.
There are well over a hundred articles here now, so if you’re looking for something specific — a word, a theme, a question that keeps popping into your head — the search icon in the top right corner can be surprisingly helpful. Or use the category filters under the Thinky Things drop down menu.
You might want to settle in. There’s plenty to explore.
