Life-changing
NLP Practitioner Training instils so many skills to maintain relationships and also the learnings of myself in these past 18 days have been indescribable. I found it life-changing, so now it’s a matter of practising it, having fun with it all, and trusting that I know the information and it is installed in my subconscious memory.
I already notice the ways in which I am practising NLP subtly and can see how transformative practising just one part of this can shift situations and moments in life.
I stopped my self-sabotage
I found that sometimes I self-sabotaged before practising and guiding someone in a process. Steph noticed that I would look at the details of the process in my manual and not really pay attention to the big picture that Steph was explaining to us on the flip chart. This meant that when I came to guide someone through the process, I was swamped by the details and became overwhelmed.
Instant state change
Sometimes Steph suggested I go outside to get myself in a good state. Once I did this and stopped looking at the manual, everything flowed and I managed the processes as if I’d been doing them for years. So although initially, it seemed Steph was picking on me, I knew it was because she sees the potential in me as a human and wants the best for me. And I realised how important it is to manage my state, and how I have great skill in being able to regulate this instantly.
There are many tools and frameworks we learnt, all of which I am looking forward to using in my coaching business with my clients.
FUN, safe and welcoming environment
I loved the fact it was in-person and Steph provided a FUN, safe and welcoming environment for us to just be ourselves. It was well worth the investment, and I believe that since I’ve learnt these frameworks and processes, I truly can’t go back to living as I did before.
In-person best
I would have been reluctant to attend if the course were online, as I really preferred to do in-person training, and am so grateful I made this choice. I liked the idea of basing myself in Raglan over the course of 3 months during the course, so the timeframe suited me. But if I’d had to travel from Wellington every month in my camper van, I would have been put off, as it's quite a distance to drive.
The course content tested me and there were challenges along the way, but on the other side of these deep processes were learnings and opportunities to heal, grow and evolve past patterns that were no longer serving me, and for that, I am extremely grateful.
Lifelong friendships
One of the major benefits of NLP Practitioner Training is the connections I’ve made along the way (lifelong friends whom I’m blessed to have met). The fact that it was held in Raglan; the most beautiful wee coastal town that is very welcoming. I felt aligned to be here in this learning environment. I also liked the fact it was a small group, so it felt like we had more 1-1 personalised training and feedback from Steph.
A great tool
For anyone interested in personal development, business, building relationships, coaching, or any field really, I recommend this course. It’s a great tool to have in your tool belt and will transform the way you see everything. It’s helped me realise my own tendencies and the potential that I want to develop within myself so that I can show up as a caring and joyous human.
It’s widened my perspective on how people think and why we do the things we do, thus increasing my level of compassion and self-awareness. I know that when I apply these practices I will not only help transform my own life but also the lives of many others. This is the sort of stuff we should be learning in school.
Fantastic storyteller
Steph is the most caring, knowledgeable, inspiring, fun, encouraging, passionate, and soft trainer. Yet she knows when to challenge you, and is the most uplifting and dedicated teacher I know. She has a wealth of knowledge in this field and in general life experience. She is a natural mentor, a fantastic storyteller and really knows her stuff. I can tell she is a student of life that wants to be of service to the world, and this really shows in her role as a teacher and coach.
Steph just wants you to be the best version of yourself. I’m forever grateful that I had the privilege of completing this NLP training with Steph. We all had many laughs and had so many soulful life chats. I learnt a lot and grew exponentially in the process. Now it’s time to start putting my skills to work and using this epic tool of NLP from my tool belt in life and business. I can’t wait.
Thanks again for all of the hard work that you do Steph. It’s deeply appreciated by your students and your passion for this work clearly shows and changes lives.
You’re an inspiration to us all and really practice what you preach. Thank you for being so generous with your wealth of knowledge, and I hope that one day, in the not-too-distant future I’ll have the privilege of studying with you again.
